| Aviotech International established a marketing
cooperation with VMS Aircraft, a US company based in San Diego, USA to
promote various aerospace chemicals, including the 3M aerospace products. |
| " A typical
fighter aircraft is held together with anywhere from 100,000 to 3,000,000
fasteners, and a transport aircraft averages 5 to 10 times that number.
These fasteners must be coated for easy installation and corrosion protection.
The aircraft structures themselves require protective paints and coatings
to prevent erosion and weakening over long lifetimes, often several decades
" [Ms Virginia C Lopez, Aerospace Industries Association] |
| A major concern in the aerospace / aircraft
chemical industry is how to supply these necessary, often hazardous, products
within the framework of regulations and restrictions imposed in the manufacturing
and transportation sectors. |
| The United States Federal
Register [Vol 60, No 170, 9/1/95] published the final rule concerning the
Environmental Protection Agency's National Emission Standards for Hazardous
Air Pollutants [HAP] for Source Categories [40 CFR Parts 9 and 63]. Tha
HAP listed in Section 112[b][1] include chromium, cadmium, methylene chloride,
toluene, xylene, methyl ethyl ketone, ethylene glycol and glycol ethers.
Following are several manufacturing operations affected by these rulings,
EPA cost estimates for implementation and several solutions. |

Conference in Nusa Dua, Bali, February 19, 1998. He later attended the
Aviotech 2000 Sales Conference -also in Bali- and established an MoU with
Universal Maintenance Facility -represented by Agus Supraptomo, VP
Aero Engine Marketing to provide the logistics support for chemical products.
